¼ cup unsalted butter 2 garlic cloves minced 1 cup heavy cream 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese ¼ tsp salt ¼ tsp black pepper Optional: pinch of nutmeg or Italian seasoning
Melt Butter & Sauté Garlic: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add Heavy Cream: Pour in the heavy cream and stir. Let it gently simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add Parmesan Cheese: Stir in grated Parmesan. Keep stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce turns creamy.
Season: Add salt and pepper to taste. For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or Italian seasoning.
Simmer: Let it cook for another 2–3 minutes on low heat until it thickens. Add a splash of cream if needed to thin it.
