Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni uncooked
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 ball pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • ½ cup pizza sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Mac and Cheese: Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package directions. In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour, and cook for 1 minute. Add milk, whisk until smooth, then stir in cheddar and cream cheese until melted. Combine with the drained pasta and set aside.
  • Prepare the Pizza Dough: Preheat your oven to 420°F (215°C). Roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface. Transfer it to a greased pizza pan and stretch it to fit.
  • Pre-bake the Crust: Use a fork to poke holes in the dough to prevent bubbles. Pre-bake the crust for 5 minutes to make it slightly crispy.
  • Add Toppings: Spread pizza sauce on the crust, leaving a border. Layer the mac and cheese over the sauce, then top with shredded mozzarella and dried basil.
  • Bake the Pizza: Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Let the pizza cool for 2-3 minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy the cheesy goodness!
