Equipment

  • Round bakingsheet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Fork orpastry cutter
  • Whisk
  • Pizza cutter or sharp knife

Ingredients

  • 1 premade thin pizza crust
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter softened to room temperature
  • cups brown sugar
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 –2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  • Prepare the Oven and Crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place your premade thin pizza crust on a round baking sheet. If the crust feels stiff, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes for easier topping.
  • Chop and Spread the Apple Filling: Open the can of apple pie filling and chop the apple pieces into smaller chunks. Spread the filling evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges for a crisp crust.
  • Make the Crumb Topping: In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, flour, and ground cinnamon. Mix with a fork, pastry cutter, or your hands until it forms coarse crumbs. This will give your dessert that signature buttery, crunchy texture.
  • Add the Topping and Bake: Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the apple layer. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the crust is golden and the topping is lightly browned. Your kitchen will smell like cinnamon and warm apples!
  • Make the Icing: While the pizza cools for a few minutes, whisk together powdered sugar and 1–2 tablespoons of milk. Adjust the milk until you get a smooth, drizzle-able icing.
  • Drizzle, Slice, and Serve: Drizzle the icing across the cooled pizza in a zigzag pattern. Slice into 6–8 pieces and serve warm. For extra flair, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or chopped nuts on top.

Notes

  • You can use homemade pizza crust if preferred; roll thin for best results.
  • Adjust icing consistency by adding milk gradually—thicker for drizzling, thinner for spreading.
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, caramel drizzle, or extra cinnamon for a cozy flavor.
  • Perfect for family desserts, brunch, or special occasions.
