Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups chicken broth store-bought or homemade
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs), cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 cups assorted vegetables broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced, optional
  • 1- inch ginger sliced, optional
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce optional
  • Fresh herbs parsley, thyme, or rosemary, as desired
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dipping sauces soy sauce, garlic butter, chili sauce, etc.
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Broth: Pour chicken broth into a fondue pot or deep saucepan. Add garlic, ginger, herbs, and soy sauce if using. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  • Arrange Dippers: Place chicken pieces and chopped vegetables on platters. Set out dipping sauces and optional rice or noodles.
  • Heat and Serve: Place the fondue pot on its heat source at the table. Keep the broth hot, but not boiling.
  • Dip and Cook: Each guest spears chicken or vegetables with a skewer or fondue fork. Dip into the hot broth and cook until chicken is white and veggies are tender (about 3–5 minutes).
  • Enjoy: Remove from the broth, dip into sauces, and enjoy with rice or noodles if desired. Sip the rich broth at the end as a light soup!
