Equipment

  • Baking sheet or tray
  • Wire rack
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Small microwave-safe bowl
  • Pastry brush or spoon
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon crispy and chopped
  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken chopped
  • cups Mexican cheese blend
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • ½ bunch green onions thinly sliced
  • 1 pack Hawaiian slider rolls

Garlic Butter Topping

  • 6 tbsp butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

  • Preheat and Cook the Bacon: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place bacon slices on a wire rack set over a baking sheet. Bake for about 15–20 minutes until crispy. Once done, let them rest on paper towels to remove excess grease.
  • Prep the Filling: Increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, mix the chopped rotisserie chicken, bacon bits, Mexican cheese blend, ranch dressing, hot sauce, and sliced green onions. Stir until everything is coated and creamy.
  • Make the Garlic Butter: Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir in the chopped garlic and ranch seasoning mix. This fragrant butter will make your sliders golden and flavorful.
  • Assemble the Sliders: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush them lightly with half of the garlic butter mixture. Then, spoon the chicken mixture evenly across the rolls. Add a drizzle of ranch dressing and a sprinkle of cheese on top.
  • Top and Bake: Add the top halves of the rolls and gently press them down. Brush the remaining garlic butter over the tops. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the tops turn beautifully golden.
  • Serve Warm and Enjoy: Remove from the oven, let them cool slightly, then slice and serve. Every bite bursts with creamy ranch, smoky bacon, and tender chicken goodness-a true comfort classic!

Notes

  • Customize the Heat: Prefer it mild? Skip the hot sauce. Love spice? Add extra or use pepper jack cheese.
  • Make Ahead Friendly: Mix the filling and refrigerate it a day in advance. Assemble and bake when ready.
  • Best Rolls to Use: Hawaiian rolls are ideal for their soft, sweet flavor-but any slider buns will work!
  • Leftover Tip: Store sliders in the fridge and reheat in the oven for best results. They’re just as good the next day!
  • Freezer Friendly: Assemble, wrap, and freeze before baking. Thaw and bake fresh when needed.
